UCF Safe Zone (formerly known as Allies) is a program created by therapists at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) designed in partnership with LGBTQ Services and the Office of Diversity Initiatives for UCF students, staff and faculty members interested in showing visual support for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or Questioning (GLBTQ) persons at the university. Members of the LGBTQ+ community, allies, and people wanting to learn more about LGBTQ+ issues are encouraged to attend our UCF Safe Zone trainings. The goal of these training sessions is to promote a safe and welcoming environment across the UCF campus for people who may identify as LGBTQ+.
